The social metabolic order of capitalism is inherently anti-ecological, since it systematically subordinates nature in its pursuit of endless accumulation and production on ever-larger scales. Technical fixes to socio-ecological problems typically have unintended consequences and fail to address the root of the problems: the political-economic order. Technology is not neutral, given that it embodies capitalist relations, whether it is to facilitate the division of labor or to increase production through the exploitation of labor and nature. Technological innovations serve as an additional means to enlarge and expand the social metabolic order of capital. Resolving the ecological crisis requires in the end a complete break with the logic of capital and the social metabolic order it creates. - John Bellamy Foster, The Ecological Rift

Dare to feel the panic. Then choose between the two main options: commit to the most militant and unwavering opposition to this system, or sit watching as it all goes down the drain. - Andreas Malm, The Progress of this Storm

about

The profiteers of Exxon Mobil, Shell, BP, Cargill, Nestle, JBS, Tönnies and countless other capitalist assholes sitting in management chairs are wrecking the earth into pieces for their own personal profit and the ever-expanding accumulation and growth of capital.

This is the sound of clear-cuttings of old growth forests.
This is the sound of cracking stone and shell while drilling for oil and copper. This is the cracking of billions of skulls of animals that are being slaughtered for the profits of meat- and dairy corporations.
This is the burning rage of a dying planet.

Nature, the animals and the exploited masses of humanity have one common enemy: capitalism. This class society, where the means of production are in the hands of a few for the goal of accumulating profit for them, has lifted the human species out of the ashes of poverty and scarcity; Into the fire. It is time for utmost militant opposition to this system and it's profiteers. We need strong organisations for this, and I'd suggest start building them now.

For understanding capitalism and the ecological crisis, I recommend reading works by:

Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Wladimir Iljitsch Lenin, Rosa Luxemburg, Theodor W. Adorno, Max Horkheimer, Herbert Marcuse, Ernst Bloch, Antonio Gramsci, John Bellamy Foster, Andreas Malm, Ian Angus
